Vortex introduces some new features on its ribbon blender models including low-maintenance silicone gasket, custom bag dump station with safety grating, big flap opening for quick agitator removal, vacuum and pressure-rated blenders with reinforced troughs, heavy-duty models for dense materials, bottom discharge extruder assembly and end wall scrapers.
Many solid-solid and solid-liquid applications rely on the batch ribbon blender for fast, straightforward, and reliable mixing. Vortex ribbon blender are commonly used for blending dry powders, granules, pellets and other solid forms. They also function as paste mixer, vacuum dryers and granulators. Vortex ribbon blender mixes product within a U-shaped trough via a horizontal agitator with inner and outer helical ribbons precisely pitched to move materials in a well-balanced axial and radial flow pattern. Tightly controlled clearances between the trough surfaces and agitator tips ensure fast and thorough mixing.

Big flap opening which includes a “600*600mm” inlet port with perforated safety grating is supplied for opening and ingredient charging and pneumatic operated flap valve is equipped for products discharging.
